The Pierce-Arrow [#56] - Click for previous

This is a beautiful, rare 1936 Pierce-Arrow that was found parked outside a restaurant in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. Very meticulous detail was put into these cars, as seen in 'The Archer' that sits proudly on the long hood. The first production Pierce automobile was in 1901 in which they used a single cylinder, 2 horsepower engine. Over the years they were producing some of the biggest and most expensive automobiles available. Unfortunately, the Pierce-Arrow corporation had to face several financial difficulties and were declared insolvent by the court in 1938.
