A Retired Tractor [#57] - Click for previous

This old dilapidated tractor has been retired in a Niagara on the Lake farm for as long as I can remember. The owner never lets the grass grow too high around it and only uses it as a display piece for tourists that pass through the area. The word tractor derives from the Latin word trahere meaning "to pull". Unfortunately, this tractor can no longer live up to its name, as the tires are completely disintegrated, and the running gear is seized. Still, this tractor looks to have all of the original parts and appears to stand sturdy and strong. One day someone might come along and restore this old relic back to life.
