This photograph was taken behind the main Canadian Parliament building. There is so much that can be written about this magnificent neo-gothic styled structure. The original centre block was destroyed due to a fierce fire in 1916 that engulfed everything but the library, which proudly stands today. The current complex was constructed in the exact same place just south of the Ottawa River. Parliament Hill could not be located in a better position as you can see it from all directions in the National Capital of Canada.
