My neighbour had just installed a new lawn and it was infested with grubs AKA. Leather Jackets. In their larvae stage, leather jackets are a delicacy for seagulls.
I noticed the flock and I went to grab my camera. I love catching birds in mid-flight, but this one was different. For a change they weren't scared by me. They were startled by some kid off the left of the picture.
