This is a picture of a lamp post behind the Niagara Parks Commission's mansion. The Niagara Parks Commission is North America's most completely maintained park system, encompassing 4,250 acres of parkland and 56 kilometres (35 miles) of roadway and recreational trails along the Niagara River from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. The Niagara parks are complete with their own police force, road maintenance, transportation system, snow and garbage removal services. This organization has been in service since 1885.
