This is a picture of a tree that is less than fifty feet from the mighty Niagara Falls during a cold winter day. This would normally be a hard shot to capture without getting the camera soaking wet and frozen, but it was perfect timing as the wind was blowing the mist to the American side. The mist created a stunning ice effect on every tree in the area. I chose this specific tree because of how the park lights (in the background) illuminated the ice on the branches. The wind shifted back to normal about twenty minutes later.
